Position SummaryAs an Accounting Associate, you’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the organization’s fiscal integrity. This position is responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and reporting, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulations.Requirements:Key ResponsibilitiesRecord and maintain financial transactions in accordance with established accounting principles and Public Knowledge® policies. Assist the Financial Controller with drafting policies and procedures. Process accounts payable and receivable, including verifying invoices and scheduling payments. Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Support payroll processing and expense tracking as needed. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate coding and documentation of expenses. Maintain confidentiality and data integrity in all financial operations. Qualifications and ExperienceAssociate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred). Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel skills preferred). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
