The Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) Treatment Project Coordinator has the responsibility of serving as technical assistance provider and project support to subrecipients of Federal HRSA EHE funds to improve HIV care outcomes. The Coordinator develops and uses standardized tools to identify barriers to successful program implementation, shares the identified barriers with EHE colleagues and Division of HIV Health (DHH) leadership, and delivers technical assistance to programs based on evidence-based care improvement modalities. The Coordinator collaborates with other DHH staff, including the Program Services Unit, when delivering technical assistance. The EHE Treatment Project Coordinator serves as liaison between DHH service units (Program Services, Information Services, and Training and Special Initiatives) to advance deliverables related to EHE HIV treatment activities across DHH. This person will be responsible for maintaining grant implementation timelines and ensuring timely reporting as required under HRSA-25-063.

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as liaison between DHH service units.
  • Serves as liaison between DHH and external partners.
    • Agencies funded to carry out EHE activities.
    • Other funded agencies.
  • Manages HRSA EHE grant work plan to ensure program effectiveness and completion of tasks on a timely basis.
  • Manages deliverables required by HRSA for EHE.
  • Completes annual mid-year and end of year reports in accordance with guidance.
  • Coordinates information from other departments within DHH for reporting for HRSA EHE grant as necessary.
  • Completes additional reports as requested by HRSA or PDPH DHH Director.
  • Provides TA as needed for HRSA EHE activities.
  • Participates as needed in HIV Integrated Planning Council (HIPC) workgroups and subcommittees.
  • Coordinates capacity building and technical assistance for DHH workforce and providers related to EHE-related HIV care services.
  • Coordinates progress reports.
  • Coordinates with other local service systems.
  • Coordinates with EHE Advisor on the integration of HIV Prevention and Treatment EHE activities.
  • Supports advancement of EHE related goals.

  • Ability to apply systematic thinking to identify and solve problems.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to funded organizations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.


Experience:

Required: Four years of experience in a public health program or delivering HIV care management services. Preferred: Minimum one year’s experience conducting quality management or program management activities in an HIV care setting.

Education Requirement:

Completion of a bachelor’s degree program (in public health or related field) at an accredited college or university with a minimum of the experience listed above. Completion of a master’s degree program in public health or a related field may count toward one year of public health program or HIV care management experience.

Salary:

Commensurate with education and experience.
