What are the responsibilities and job description for the Master of Social Work position at Public Health, Delta & Menominee Counties?
Public Health, Delta & Menominee Counties has an opening for a full-time Mental Health Counselor. This position will be located at The Center for Youth Health & Wellness on Bay College's Escanaba campus. This position will work closely with individuals between 10-21 years of age and their families.
In this position, the Counselor will be responsible for providing individual and group counseling to children and adolescents. The Counselor will also provide consultation and training to the provider team, as well as direct patient care in the areas of behavioral and mental health. The Counselor will coordinate behavioral mental health services to the provider team while ensuring and facilitating the achievement of quality health outcomes.

Requirements include:
- Possession of a Master's degree in Social Work or related human services area
- One year of direct clinical experience, preferably with children/adolescents
- Qualified to receive third-party insurance payments for mental health services
- Possess a current, valid driver's license
