Role Description This is a remote internship role for an Editor at Public Equity. The Editor will review, refine, and format written content related to public equity markets to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency with style guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include copyediting articles, reports, and digital content; checking facts and sources; collaborating with writers and analysts to improve structure and flow; and ensuring content aligns with organizational standards. The Editor may also assist with headline creation, layout suggestions for web publishing, and basic content management tasks in digital platforms. This internship is designed to provide hands-on editorial experience in a market-focused environment while working closely with the content and research teams.
This is a 3 months, un-paid internship.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in editing, copyediting, and proofreading for grammar, style, and clarity.
- Ability to review and organize financial or market-related information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Competence in written communication, including structuring articles, improving flow, and refining complex ideas.
- Comfort using digital tools for document collaboration, content management, and remote communication.
- Interest in public equity markets, investing, or finance; prior coursework or self-study in these areas is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and respond to editorial feedback in a remote setting.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.
- Commitment to producing inclusive, unbiased content that can be understood by a broad audience.
