Teller – Main Office (Full-Time)
Location: 306 E 10th St Austin, TX 78701
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday: Various between the hours of 8:15am and 6:15pm
- Rotating Saturdays: 8:45AM – 1:15 PM
Position Summary
We’re hiring a full-time Teller for our Main Office. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, values accuracy, and wants to grow in a service-focused financial environment.
This is not a sales position. Our tellers do not have sales goals or quotas—we focus on education, service, and building long-term member relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional service to members in the branch
- Process financial transactions accurately (deposits, withdrawals, payments, etc.)
- Educate members on products and services based on their needs
- Balance cash drawers and follow established procedures
- Support daily branch operations and work collaboratively with the team
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfort handling cash and working with numbers
- Reliability, professionalism, and a willingness to learn
Banking experience is not required.
We are happy to train candidates with customer service and/or cash-handling experience.
Schedule Requirements
- Ability to work the full posted weekday schedule
- Availability for rotating Saturday mornings (8:45 AM – 1:15 PM)
- Willingness to work at other PECU locations if needed
