Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated High Top Cargo Van Owners who are interested in joining our team as a full time Delivery Driver. This is a 1099/independent contractor position. The ideal candidate must own a high top cargo van and will be responsible for delivering auto parts to various collision shops while ensuring a timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. Pay is weekly direct deposit with one week held back.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload auto parts, every part must be load and deliver scanned and accurate before you leave.
- Ensure proper handling of items to prevent damage.
- Use customers app to scan parts when making deliveries.
- Ask every customer if they returns, and bring back to correct location at dealer.
- Pick up parts at proper time that route is scheduled, some routes have multiple trips.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns and reporting to local manager/dispatcher as needed.
- Notify local manager/regional dispatcher immediately if you cannot cover your assigned route for the day.
Qualifications
- Completion of onboarding paperwork.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the day.
- Experience using delivery apps a plus.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
