Overview
We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to support the acquisition of goods and services through the negotiation, execution, and administration of commercial contracts. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in contract law, procurement, risk management, and vendor negotiations, particularly within IT-related contracting.

Responsibilities
- Negotiate, draft, review, execute, and administer commercial contracts for the acquisition of goods and services.
- Lead negotiations for new contracts, renewals, amendments, and contract modifications.
- Partner with business stakeholders to develop acquisition strategies, contract structures, and procurement milestones.
- Provide guidance on contractual requirements, risk identification, and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure contract review and oversight are appropriate based on the complexity, value, and associated risks.
- Coordinate contract reviews with procurement, legal, and other internal stakeholders as required.
- Evaluate vendor proposals and perform pricing and cost analysis to determine competitiveness and reasonableness.
- Develop negotiation strategies and lead discussions regarding pricing, terms, conditions, and contractual obligations.
- Review key contract deliverables, timelines, milestones, and performance expectations with vendors and business partners prior to execution.
- Interpret contractual provisions and provide ongoing support to internal stakeholders throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Manage contract changes, closeout activities, and termination processes when necessary.
- Identify contractual risks, anticipate potential issues, and recommend effective solutions.
- Communicate contract-related information clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
- Support organizational objectives by ensuring compliance, cost efficiency, and effective vendor management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Contract Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with contract law, commercial terms, and contract administration.
- Strong background in acquisition planning, procurement strategy, contract negotiations, pricing analysis, and vendor management.
- Experience evaluating and mitigating contractual and business risks.
- Experience preparing and reviewing bids, proposals, and commercial agreements.
- Strong analytical, research, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make informed business decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of cost optimization and cost containment strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI-related technologies, products, or services.
- Experience managing complex IT procurement and technology vendor contracts.
- Professional certifications related to contract management or procurement are a plus.
