Customer Outreach Specialist / Land Representative

Position Overview
A growing infrastructure services organization is seeking a Customer Outreach Specialist / Land Representative to support overhead and underground utility construction projects. This role serves as the primary point of contact between the project team and property owners, helping communicate project information, secure easements, and maintain positive customer relationships throughout project execution.
The ideal candidate is professional, customer-focused, organized, and comfortable working both in the field and at home.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a positive and professional representative to customers and property owners
- Communicate project information and address customer questions or concerns
- Research public records to verify property ownership information
- Utilize customer information systems and databases to gather ownership and contact details
- Prepare, review, and process easement documentation
- Collect and document executed agreements and legal forms
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and project updates
- Identify and report project deficiencies or inconsistencies
- Schedule appointments and optimize travel routes for efficient field coverage
- Meet weekly performance goals and project deadlines
- Adhere to company safety standards and PPE requirements
- Perform notary duties related to legal signatures when applicable
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to confidently engage with customers in person and over the phone
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to manage schedules, documentation, and multiple priorities
- Valid driver’s license required
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Notary experience is preferred but not required
- Basic understanding of process flows and documentation practices preferred
Physical & Travel Requirements
- Frequent local travel required
- Ability to drive both short and long distances regularly
- Ability to walk outdoors multiple times daily, including in varying weather conditions
- Ability to get in and out of a vehicle frequently throughout the day
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work both in office settings and outdoor field environments
