Job Overview
Electro-Mechanical Assembler
PTR – Precision Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team in Enfield, CT. The Electro-Mechanical Assembler will serve as an in-house service technician, with a focus on assisting in the manufacturing of electron beam welding machines as well as monitoring and maintaining machines in our Job Shop to reduce downtime and increase consistent operation.
Responsibilities
- Perform layout and wiring of panels/consoles/power supplies.
- Wires machines, builds harnesses, tests transformers, and performs wiring inspections for quality control.
- Provides RMA support.
- Occasional travel to customer sites may be required (role is primarily performed in-house at our Enfield, CT plant).
- Performs routine/preventive maintenance and unplanned emergency repairs.
- Troubleshoots repairs and installs replacements as required on machines to ensure minimal downtime.
- Performs all duties in compliance with safety guidelines.
- Performs other duties as necessary or assigned.
Skills
- Experience in soldering.
- Intermediate to advanced electrical skills.
- Proficient with hand tools.
- Basic computer skills (including Microsoft products).
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
