UI Developer - React

Position: React Developer
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire

Job Overview:

• 6–8 years of strong UI development experience
• Hands-on expertise in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Experience with CI/CD tools
• Proficiency in UI automation testing using Cypress or Playwright
• Experience developing end-to-end UI applications (UI layer only)
• Ability to guide and mentor a team, actively participate in design discussions, and share updates
• Role split: 60% hands-on development, 40% lead responsibilities
• Will lead a team of 8 UI developers
  

• Lead and oversee a team to ensure the successful delivery of functional products.
• Apply expertise in UI development to design, build, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance web applications.
• Demonstrate a solid grasp of Agile practices and effectively operate within at least one widely-used Agile framework.
• Possess strong knowledge of modern development techniques, including Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Test Driven Development.
• Exhibit proficiency in key software engineering areas and a comprehensive understanding of the software lifecycle, encompassing business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and ongoing improvement.
• Expert in UI/UX and design technique as well as experience working across large environments with multiple operating systems/infrastructure for large-scale programs (e.g., Expert Engineers) starting to be firm-wide resources working on projects across client
• Is multi-skilled with expertise across software development lifecycle and toolset
• May be recognized as a leader in Agile and cultivating teams working in Agile frameworks
• Sought out as coach for at least one technical skill
• Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, resiliency, security
• Stays abreast of cutting-edge technologies/trends and uses experience to influence application of those technologies/trends to support the business; may give speeches and outside the firm, writes articles

• Minimum 6 to 8 years of exp Manage a team, React, Typescript, React Context API, React query, Jest, React testing library, Cypress, API integration libraries, CICD, Code quality testing, Integration & rollout support

Pay Range: $65- $70

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
