Senior Art Director

A leading global company in the digital services space is seeking an experienced Senior Art Director to join its fast-paced, multidisciplinary Visuals Studio. This team brings best-in-class graphic design, video, and art direction to products across entertainment, media, and digital experiences.

This role is ideal for a strategic, creative thinker, visual communicator, and systems-driven designer who excels at working across complex programs and collaborating with cross-functional partners.

This is a hybrid role in Culver City, CA. Candidates must be local to apply.

Role Overview

The Art Director will partner with creative, editorial, and engineering teams to develop innovative visual solutions across a wide range of digital products, including music, TV, books, podcasts, gaming, and apps. The ideal candidate can distill complex ideas into beautifully designed narratives and deliver polished creative at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-concept, visually sophisticated design solutions across multiple products and mediums.
• Develop and present thoughtful, creative concepts to a variety of audiences
• Translate complex requirements into clear, compelling presentation decks
• Provide art direction across illustration, typography, layout, and graphic systems
• Collaborate effectively across time zones while managing multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• 10 years as a Senior Art Director, Art Director, or Senior Designer
• A portfolio demonstrating an A taste level, originality, and consistent high-quality execution
• Strong ability to communicate ideas visually and narratively
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles
• Expertise in Photoshop and Illustrator; motion design experience is a plus
• Experience with mobile apps, websites, software, and other digital outputs
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style

Logistics

• Assignment Duration: 6-month contract to start possible extension
• Hours: 40 per week
• Schedule: Hybrid in Culver City, CA
• Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the United States without Sponsorship.
• Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, 401 (k) options after 60 days of employment.
• Pay: $90-135 per hour, based on experience - W2 only

Compensation for this position will be determined based on several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role; market labor costs; the candidate’s skills, education, training, credentials, and experience; and other employment conditions. Full-time consultants are eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) contributions, along with any PTO, sick leave, or other benefits required by applicable state or local laws where you reside or work.
