Position: Frontend Developer (Visual Studio IAM)

Location: Plano, Texas

Duration: 6-Months CTH


Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced contractor to design, develop, and maintain a Visual Studio Code (VSCode) editor plugin. The plugin will detect secrets (such as API keys, passwords, tokens) in code and facilitate their secure migration to an enterprise Secrets Manager or Vault solution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in VSCode extension development, secure coding practices, Identity Access Management, experience in development languages/SDLC, and integration with secrets management platforms. Familiarity with GitHub Copilot VS Code plug-in is a big plus.

Project: Identify and help correct improper use of identity/access-related APIs across development teams

• VSCode editor plugin exp

• VSCode copilot

• ReactJS exp

• someone worked on expanding the VSCode plugin

• some exposure on Identity and access management

• someone can leverage the GitHub Copilot otherwise AI/ML exposure

Must have:

• exposure on Identity and access management (basic understanding)

• someone can leverage the Copilot otherwise AI/ML exposure

Pay Range: $60- $65/Hr.

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
