Software Engineer (Python)

12M Contract

In-Peron Required.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This job is for a Senior Software Engineer with 5-8 years of experience specializing in AWS and cloud development.

• Programming: Proficient in at least one general-purpose programming language, with Python being a must-have, especially with AWS (Spark and Glue).
• Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile
• Overall Software Lifecycle: Working proficiency across the entire software engineering discipline, from business analysis and development to testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement.
• Content Migration: Experience with content migration is essential.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Configure and set up the AWS platform environment to meet organizational requirements and stage for eGain migration.
• Ensure that the platform is optimized for performance, security, and scalability.
• Provide technical support, write python widgets and troubleshooting during the setup phase to address any issues that arise.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure that contractor roles align with the changing requirements of the migration process.
• Analyze complex datasets used to make decisions regarding real-world applications.
• Investigate the applicability of new approaches to business problems and products by combining theory and experimentation
• Write software code that is built and deployed in production systems.

Additional Skills:

• Python and AWS

Must Have:

• 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience
• Content Migration, AWS (spark and glue), and Python

Nice to have/preferred:

• Recent client experience.
• eGain experience.
