Position: Linguist III
Location: Onsite is Redmond, WA or Burlingame, CA
Duration: 06 months Contract

Job Overview:

The Linguist III position involves working on language-related projects, including analysis, translation, and linguistic research. The role requires expertise in linguistics and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Candidates will contribute to the development and improvement of language-based systems and tools.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct linguistic analysis and research to support project goals.
• Translate and localize content while ensuring cultural relevance and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop language-based systems and tools.
• Provide linguistic expertise and recommendations for improving language models.
• Ensure quality and consistency in all language-related deliverables.
  

• Advanced degree in Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in multiple languages and strong understanding of linguistic principles.
• Experience with language modeling, translation, or localization projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Pay Range: $50 - $55/hour 

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
