Job Overview:

The Programmer Analyst will join the team to enhance and maintain a software platform used by Electric Utilities for voltage control. The role involves improving scalability, reliability, and performance, as well as adding features and functionality based on customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications with a focus on test automation.
• Implement and manage microservices architecture, including containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Utilize testing tools and suites such as Cucumber/BDD Implementation and API Automation.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance the software platform's scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Analyze system-level problems and provide innovative solutions.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success.

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Java programming and test automation.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with testing tools/suites such as Cucumber/BDD Implementation and API Automation.
• High School Diploma or Equivalency required; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred.
• Prior experience in a regulated industry or working on large-scale projects is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and innovative with a nimble learning approach.
• Analytical and system-level problem-solving skills.

Pay Range: $45 - 50/hr. W2
