Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Admin/Database Engineer to join our team in Sunnyvale, California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database technologies, with expertise in Ali Cloud, CockroachDB, and PostgreSQL. This role requires a professional with a proven track record of managing and optimizing database systems to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain database systems to meet business requirements.
• Ensure database performance, security, and availability.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize database queries and structures.
• Monitor and troubleshoot database issues to ensure minimal downtime.
• Implement best practices for database management and data integrity.
• Work with Ali Cloud, CockroachDB, and PostgreSQL to support various projects and initiatives.
  

• 5-10 years of experience in database technologies.
• At least 1 year of experience with Ali Cloud.
• 2-5 years of experience with CockroachDB.
• 2-5 years of experience with PostgreSQL.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Pay Range: $75 to $80/ hr

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
