Job Overview:

The Business Execution Consultant 2 - Contingent will serve as a MICR Tester, responsible for executing validation testing on check documents and related items to ensure compliance with MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) industry standards. This role involves identifying defects in formatting, print quality, and magnetic characteristics that could impact item processing, while providing accurate test results to internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Execute MICR testing by processing check samples through validation systems and analyzing results for compliance.
• Validate MICR line accuracy, including character spacing, alignment, and field positioning.
• Evaluate print quality attributes such as character dimensions, readability, and magnetic ink strength.
• Document and report test results, identifying and classifying failure reasons.
• Support recurring reporting and maintain organized testing records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to share test outcomes and support discussions on testing results and trends.
  

• 2 years of experience in testing, quality assurance, or operations (banking or document processing preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and basic reporting tools.
• Knowledge of MICR standards and check processing (preferred).
• Experience with check imaging, scanning, or payment processing systems (preferred).

Pay Range: $50 - $52

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
