Job Overview:

The Application Security Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the security of applications by identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and collaborating with development teams to enhance application security. This role requires a strong understanding of security protocols, tools, and best practices to protect sensitive data and systems.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans on applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents related to applications.
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures for applications.
• Provide training and guidance to teams on application security best practices.
• Stay updated on the latest security threats and technologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Proven experience in application security or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Pay Range: $75 - $80/hr. W2

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
