Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Avionics Engineer for a 6-month contract position starting January 5th. This role is 100% onsite in Fort Worth, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aircraft avionics systems, software customization, and project management. This position requires expertise in aircraft software distribution, engineering documentation, and the ability to manage major projects effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Work on Aircraft AOC system and AOC software customization.
• Utilize Airline Modifiable Information (AMI) software, including FDCF, ACMF, DCMF, and GBST for AMI customization.
• Manage and execute aircraft software distribution and loading processes.
• Author, revise, and create Engineering Orders (EOs) and Engineering Authorizations (EAs).
• Apply knowledge of Aircraft manuals such as AMM, IPC, etc.
• Ensure major projects are managed and completed on schedule.
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Outlook, and Excel, for documentation and communication.
  

• Experience with Aircraft AOC systems and AOC software customization.
• Proficiency in Airline Modifiable Information (AMI) software and customization through GBST.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft software distribution and loading processes.
• C Programming/ Llama knowledge is ideal
• Familiarity with Aircraft manuals such as AMM, IPC, etc.
• Proven ability to author, revise, and create 
• Demonstrated ability to manage major projects on schedule.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Pay Range: $50 - $55

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
