Job description:
PTP Transport is Now Hiring Class A, CDL Drivers. With the largest pay increase in company history (starting driver pay .47cpm/2-5 years .50cpm /5 years .53cpm) and Sign-On Bonus, we are motivated to meet and hire, dedicated people, looking for a company to call home.

We follow the guidelines outlined in the FMCSA

• 18-21 years of age, must be 21 years of age to cross state lines
• We prefer three years over-the-road verifiable experience (3 years out of the past 5 years driving a commercial vehicle), but less experienced drivers are welcome to apply.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A)
• No moving violations in last 12 months
• No driving under the influence (DUI/DWI) citations
• Must pass Federal Department of Transportation Road Test
• Must pass Federal Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol tests
• Must pass Federal Department of Transportation Physical Requirements

• All drivers are paid weekly on completed trips, payroll is calculated on Monday for the previous week and paid Friday

• Sign-on Bonus: $3,000 (90 days=$1,000 / 180 days=$2,000)
• Drivers are paid for all miles; each driver has a loaded and empty mileage rate.
• Stops excluding the origin and destination
• Downtime approved by dispatcher
• If you qualify for a Safety bonus, you will be paid it according to the guidelines of the bonus
• Referral bonus: When the driver you refer is hired and completes their first load, you get PAID. When the driver completes their probationary period, you get PAID. As they continue to grow in their driver role, you continue to get PAID. It's a WIN - WIN!
• Breakdowns are paid according to policy
• Bereavement is paid according to policy
• Vacations are paid according to policy

About the job:
PTP Transport is the in-house transportation and logistics team for Young's Plant Farm in Auburn, AL, and has served for-hire freight customers since 2017. You'll run regional routes and be home weekly for your 34-hour reset.

Pay:

• Starting rate .48 CPM; 2-5 years .50 CPM; 5 years .53 CPM
• All miles paid, with a loaded and an empty rate
• Paid weekly: payroll runs Monday for the prior week and pays Friday
• 3,000 sign-on bonus: 1,000 at 90 days, 2,000 at 180 days
• Stop pay (excluding origin and destination), dispatcher-approved downtime, detention, and layover pay
• Breakdown, bereavement, and vacation pay per policy
• Safety bonus and paid orientation
• Referral bonus paid when your referral completes their first load, finishes probation, and as they keep driving
