Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Kitter for our Assembly Department to assemble kits according to project or production requirements. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting our operations by preparing kits for our Assembly department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick and prepare materials/components for kitting based on bills of materials (BOMs) or work orders.
- Assemble kits accurately and efficiently, ensuring all required components are included.
- Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of materials.
- Identify and report damaged or obsolete inventory.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the storage area.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in inventory, kitting, warehousing, or a related role.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Familiarity with inventory control systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Fishbowl, etc.).
- Basic understanding of kitting and bill of materials processes.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Forklift certification (preferred but not required).
- Excellent time management and communication.
- Problem-solving mindset.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer proficiency (Excel, Word, inventory software).
