What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Instructor – Undergraduate OB Clinical Instructor, Nursing position at PTF - Part-Time Faculty?
In keeping with our mission and vision statement, Maryville actively seeks adjunct faculty members who are experts in their fields and have a passion for teaching. Adjunct faculty are an integral part of the University's learning community and teach courses on campus.
The Catherine McAuley School of Nursing is accepting applications for academically/professionally qualified adjunct faculty members to provide OB clinical instruction to undergraduate nursing students and supervise students in the Nursing Resource Center during the 2025 Fall Semester.
Duties include facilitating patient selection to aid student fulfillment of course objectives, facilitating clinical conferences, and evaluating student performance in the clinical setting. Each clinical faculty must complete onboarding requirements with our clinical partners prior to the first clinical day.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master of Science in Nursing
- Minimum of two years' recent clinical experience
- Unencumbered Missouri RN license
- Current CPR certification
- Available to teach on campus at our location in St. Louis, Missouri
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in undergraduate nursing education
- Experience in simulation
- Experience using Canvas or other relevant online course delivery platform
- Experience with the electronic medical record
