What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Instructor – DNP Project Chair (Online) position at PTF - Part-Time Faculty?

The Catherine McAuley School of Nursing is searching for committed and qualified adjunct faculty to serve as DNP project chairs for students in our BSN-DNP, DNP-NP, and DNP programs. Chairs will be assigned six students enrolled in the program and are expected to work with them throughout the 18-month program. Chairs work remotely throughout the year and are required to attend (virtually) the student's DNP scholar's day presentation.
The chair will work with a designated faculty mentor. The faculty mentor is available to provide support and answer any questions the chair has about the process.

Minimum Qualifications:
- DNP or PhD in Nursing or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with supervision of doctoral projects
- Doctoral-level teaching experience
Adjunct Instructors will be provided orientation and training on the Canvas LMS and will be required to complete a self-paced online training course covering techniques for online facilitation and student engagement.
