Our client is seeking a highly organized and motivated Senior Tax Accountant to join their family office team supporting two high-net-worth families. This role plays a key part in delivering integrated wealth management services including tax planning, compliance, education, risk management, charitable trust oversight, and generational planning. You will collaborate closely with a small, dedicated team and contribute to a growing organization built on professionalism, integrity, and exceptional service.Key ResponsibilitiesTax Knowledge and ExpertiseProvide tax planning for individuals, partnerships, trusts, foundations, and estate planning initiatives.Prepare or review income tax estimates and extensions; partner with PwC on the preparation of individual, partnership, trust, and foundation tax returns across various jurisdictions.Research and analyze tax issues impacting entities and individuals.Collaborate with corporate and individual trustees.Utilize BNA and tax compliance software; experience with CCH Pro Systems (including research and special allocations) is a plus.Prepare tax-related materials for family branch meetings.General AccountingCommunicate and report on investment allocations, financial planning, cash flow, and tax status for individuals.Support trust, foundation, and family partnership accounting, administration, and cash management.Assist in developing and maintaining accounting policies, controls, and documentation for all tax-related procedures.Administrative SupportWork collaboratively across the team to support family members and daily office operations.Manage filing and record retention; family office or wealth management experience is beneficial.Organize and prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining a positive, professional attitude.Communicate clearly and effectively with family members and internal staff; address issues promptly with sound judgment.Thrive both independently and in team settings; maintain a high attention to detail with minimal supervision.QualificationsCPA required, with a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. MBA is a plus!Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax.Experience preparing and researching tax matters for high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, trusts, and private foundations is a plus.Strong technology aptitude; ability to implement software updates.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint).Experience with Asset Vantage and Adobe Professional is a plus.Benefits SummaryEmployees enjoy a flexible hybrid schedule with four days in the office and either Monday or Friday as a remote day.
