What are the responsibilities and job description for the On-Call Employee position at PTCE, Inc?
SUMMARY
The On Call Employee provides customer service and education to our clientele while promoting a work environment that is positive, service oriented and compliant with established policies, procedures and applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet customers pleasantly and with courtesy, provide visitors with all directions and provide all information regarding promotions.
Conduct required identification check on each customer who enter the premises in accordance with the standards set forth in applicable laws and regulations and is limited to those individuals 21 years or older.
Provide customer with a brief tour and explanation on the products available.
Assist customers with products and merchandise
Work with management to increase sales.
Merchandise store displays and assist with stocking and merchandising in sales area as needed.
Conduct inventory replenishment in the Inventory Room throughout the scheduled shift
Maintain organization of product stock room to include condensing large bins to ensure older product sells before new product; bundling new product for easier counts
Assist with daily, weekly, monthly inventory counts
Assist with inventory management using the company's established procedures, and responds to any discrepancies by notifying management
Verify products are priced appropriately
Ensure that all incoming product meets applicable LCB regulations
May assist with entering and reconciling product invoice into POS system
May assist with administrative, reconciliation and customer service duties as needed
Monitor interactions to maintain a peaceful and safe atmosphere both inside and outside the store including the parking lot.
Observe and report all incidents and safety hazards to management and recommend any needed improvements.
Work with management by collecting customer feedback to be used for continuously improving customer and staff safety.
Conduct frequent exterior perimeter checks as scheduled and as needed.
Provide exceptional customer services at all times and maintain courtesy and professionalism.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Must be 21 years of age or older
High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred
2 years of retail or customer service experience preferred
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers and other staff.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute ratio and percent and interpret graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to identify problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret technical instructions in various forms.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS
This position is classified as a sensitive Tribal position. Therefore, applicants must submit to and clear a pre-employment criminal background check.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of cannabis and its various uses.
Knowledge of applicable regulations and ability to familiarize oneself with applicable Tribal Ordinances/Regulations.
Skilled in computer programs and cash management.
Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with staff, customers, and vendors.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including nights and weekends.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to perform manual labor tasks which can include sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, reaching, performing repetitive tasks, and frequently lifting up to 50 pounds.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This is a normal retail store setting; noise levels range from quiet to loud but are usually moderate.
