The PTC Field Enablement team is responsible for enabling sales, implementation and support roles across PTC’s worldwide partner and employee ecosystems. By delivering simple, prescriptive, effective learning experiences, PTC Field Enablement ensures partners and employees have the onboarding and ongoing enablement they need to be successful.
The PTC Field Enablement team is looking for an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Technical Enablement Consultant to learn and teach PTC partner and employee technical resources how to successfully implement and support PTC products like Codebeamer.
Day-To-Day:
- Build and share deep expertise in PTC’s ALM product family, including Codebeamer
- Analyze partner and employee technical enablement requirements
- Deliver standard and custom technical enablement
- Continuously pursue enablement delivery excellence
- Support content developers with course design and provide technical support
- Respond to course forum questions and discussions
- Follow and contribute to the Field Technical Enablement methodology
- Build relationships across business stakeholders and technical teams
- Be a productive member of the Field Technical Enablement team
- Help improve PTC products by providing feedback to engineering
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
- Understanding of ALM and related software such as Jira and Microsoft Azure
- A technical aptitude and natural ability to learn new technology or hands-on experience implementing and/or supporting Codebeamer
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to explain complex topics in simple, understandable language
- Ability to engage learners while instructing a class
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent work and time management skills
- Ability to follow processes in the pursuit of operational excellence
- Understand how technical resources learn
- Ability to proactively identify problems and propose solutions
- Understand computer programming, software development and methodology
Preferred Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 4 years’ implementing and/or supporting the adoption of Product Lifecycle Management and/or Application Lifecycle Management software
- 4 years’ experience helping technical resources succeed with software
