Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Operates crane, making lifts under direction of floor personnel
• Loads/unloads trucks under direction of shipping personnel 
• Moves lifts from mills/finishing and stacks on floor in a safe manner 
• Removes scrap bundles and hoppers from mills/finishing at the direction mill crews 
• Miscellaneous duties as directed 

The incumbent is expected to understand that all employees have a shared responsibility for the quality of products and related services provided to our customers. Duties and responsibilities are to be carried out in accordance with the PTC Quality Management System and its policies, procedures, and work instructions as applicable to the job or function being performed.

Skills and Abilities:

• Reasonable hand-eye coordination 
• Must be dependable and operate crane in accordance with safety procedures 
• Must pass eye and depth perception exam 
• Must pass a written and operating examination 
• Cannot have any health condition or disability that would impede quick reactions 
• Operators required to take medication, must bring proof from physician that said medication will not affect operators ability to operate crane in a safe manner. 
• Operators may not operate cranes while under the influence of drugs or alcohol
