And we are currently looking for an experienced Shift Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a 3rd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor to lead our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the second shift operations, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of production operators, material handlers, and technicians to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Monitor production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining quality standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members, providing guidance for professional development.
- Enforce safety policies and procedures, conducting regular safety inspections.
- Optimize equipment performance and coordinate with maintenance for repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks to improve productivity.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor or in a similar role, preferably in a plastic injection molding or related manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including noise, heat, cold, and exposure to chemicals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and ear protection when on the manufacturing floor.
- Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments and withstand exposure to noise levels associated with manufacturing machinery.
- Ability to receive, comprehend and utilize required training from OSHA and Company including but not limited to the following: Hazard Communication, Lock Out/Tag Out, First Aid and CPR (optional).
