Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled dual Press Brake and Plate Roll Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake and roll machines to bend and shape metal sheets according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes, precision measuring instruments, and the ability to read blueprints. The successful candidate will contribute to the production of high-quality components while ensuring safety and efficiency in the workplace.
Duties
- Set up and operate press brake machines for bending and shaping metal plate.
- Set up and operate plate roll for rolling metal plate.
- Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges for quality inspection.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with team members in the assembly process and fabrication of parts.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and basic maintenance.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Experience
Candidates should possess a strong background in manufacturing with experience in the following areas:
- Pay will be based on experience.
- Operating press brake machines and other related machinery
- Operating plate roll machine
- Proficiency in using hand tools and tooling for metal fabrication.
- Experience with forklift operation, crane usage, and basic math skills for measurements.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with an emphasis on quality inspection techniques.
