Hospital/Clinic Address: 1395 S Pinellas Ave, Tarpon Springs, Florida 34689

Hospital/Clinic Information: PT Solutions proudly has partnered with Advent Health North Pinellas, which is a 132-bed facility and a small community hospital. All primarily geriatric population. Joint commission certified for joint hip and total knee program and holds a primary stroke certification. There are 5 total floors to the hospital including 1 critical care unit and 1 step down unit. This is an all-acute care hospital.

PRN Shift/Hour Requirements: 2 weekend day shifts per month, 1 major holiday, 1 minor holiday

Your Responsibilities As An Acute Care Occupational Therapist Assistant

• Prepare equipment for treatment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patients
• Establish strong relationships with each patient so that they have ability to exceed their functional goals
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (I.e. physicians, case management, nurses, etc)
  
  

Qualifications

• Graduate ACOTE approved occupational therapy assistant program
• Current or pending state licensure
• Basic Life Support certification
  
  

Compensation

Pay Rate: $35.00/hour
