Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Filing Clerk to support our legal office by maintaining accurate, organized, and up-to-date client files. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys behind-the-scenes work, has strong organizational skills, and prefers minimal client interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- File and organize client case files, both physical and electronic
- Ensure all files are accurately named, labeled, and stored for efficient access
- Work closely with the office team on opening, maintaining, and closing files
- Conduct weekly check-ins with staff regarding dormant or inactive files
- Monitor file status to help ensure deadlines are met
- Maintain consistency and accuracy to support the smooth flow of office operations
- Utilize Needles Neos case management software (or learn quickly if unfamiliar)
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiarity with Needles Neos preferred
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple files and priorities efficiently
- Reliable, punctual, and process-driven
- Minimal client interaction required
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
