Full Job Description
We are a multidisciplinary outpatient ortho clinic that sees a wide range of patients. We see a largely athletic population, from weekend warriors to high school and collegiate athletes.
Position Description:
We are looking for a physical therapist who wants to be part of an established and growing clinic location that believes in providing world class care to everyone who walks through our doors.
Our treatment philosophy centers around getting people moving and utilizing manual and passive therapies as an adjunct to decreasing pain and improving movement capabilities. We have a multidisciplinary team that includes chiropractic as an adjunct to rehab and movement. Our clinics are also staffed with a full admin team, PTA at each location, and Athletic Trainers on staff.
We are looking for a physical therapist who is ready to be part of an amazing clinic that is growing, open minded, willing to learn, and grow as a clinician and leader.
Hours of Operation:
Full time position with hours of operation: Monday - Friday and some Saturday coverage on rotation with other PT’s.
Compensation:
Position offers a base salary plus incentives. Starting salary will be based on experience. Expected starting position will offer a $80,000 /year salary, with the ability to have the financial position grow to $100,000 base salary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Candidate must have knowledge on active and passive rehabilitation procedures to direct the patient(s) through the appropriate treatment plan.
Candidate must be able to produce appropriate treatment plan based on patient needs.
Perform appropriate musculoskeletal and neurological evaluations.
Ability to consult, recognize, and refer patient(s) to the appropriate health care practitioner if/when needed.
Be a leader to other team members and the community.
Communicate effectively with team and referral sources.
Competency:
Candidate must perform patient care to what is required as a physical therapist morally and ethically.
Candidate must learn fast, grow with the practice, and potentially have the opportunity to grow into leading the practice as a manager/clinic supervisor.
Work Environment:
The Plan West location is a growing clinic with an established patient base and supporting staff. We are looking for a leader and self starter that can hit the ground running. We take our involvement in the community and relationships very seriously.
Physical Demands:
-Must be able to manually treat patients on a daily basis.
-Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of passive therapies.
-Perform and demonstrate active therapies with confidence and knowledge.
-Manage and lead a team in regards to established business practices and therapy.
