Platform Accounting Group is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who is eager to learn, build foundational skills, and grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This role will work closely with, and ultimately report to, a Senior Accountant, providing hands-on mentorship and a clear path for development.

What you will do:
- Prepare standard journal entries and assist with month-end close tasks for assigned areas
- Perform account reconciliations with guidance from senior team members
- Support financial statement preparation and review processes
- Assist with audit preparation and pulling supporting documentation
- Work in NetSuite to record transactions and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with internal teams and office contacts to resolve accounting questions
- Learn and follow established processes and SOPs, with a growth mindset toward taking on more overtime
What we look for:
- 0–2 years of accounting experience; internship experience welcomed
- Basic Excel skills with a willingness to grow into more advanced functions
- Familiarity with accounting software; NetSuite experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Good communicator who is comfortable asking questions and following up
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage time across multiple tasks
- Team-first attitude with a desire to learn and develop
