About You
We are growing and seeking a Payroll Administrator to manage and oversee the payroll process and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. The role is critical in developing payroll procedures, analyzing payroll date, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance payroll operations. The Payroll Administrator will serve as the primary point of contact for all payroll-related inquires.
To do this work successfully, you will need:
- Three or more years of payroll processing experience - ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.
- High School Diploma - required.
- Associate's Degree - preferred.
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills - preferred.
- Advances proficiency in Excel (including data analysis and reporting) - preferred.
- Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and best practices.
- Proven experience in developing payroll policies and procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in payroll operations.
- Working knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
- Knowledge of employment law and human resources responsibilities.
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of computer applications and HR-specific software programs.

Your Responsibilities
Showing commitment to the use of best practice standards, Psynergy Payroll Administrator is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee compensation, including wages, tax withholdings and deductions. You will manage an ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, and maintain confidential employee records. In addition, the following will also be a responsibility:
- Develop, implement, and maintain payroll policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Process semi-monthly payroll using ADP, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Analyze payroll data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with HR and Accounting to recommend payroll-related strategies and process improvements.
- Oversee the calculation and processing of wage garnishments, child support, and other deductions.
- Review and verify payroll data, including timekeeping records, wage adjustments, and terminations.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management, highlighting key metrics and potential issues.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, resolving discrepancies effectively.
- Assist with year-end payroll processing, including W-2 preparation.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

The pay range assigned to this role is based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
