What are the responsibilities and job description for the TMS Technician position at Psychvisit?
Job Description:
Duties:
- Perform daily treatments
- Complete daily visitor logs for each patient
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the best patient care
- Handle phone calls and other administrative tasks
- Assist with patient care for Spravato treatments
- Participate in New Patient Intake Triage and assist with other practice-related duties as needed
- Cross-train in various roles across the practice, providing support in other areas as required
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits for patients
- Schedule appointments and manage patient calendars
- Assist in obtaining prior authorizations as needed for treatments and or medications
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a technician or in a similar role
- Personable, with the ability to build rapport and help patients feel comfortable
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Experience in a medical setting is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Flexibility and willingness to be cross-trained in multiple areas of the practice
- Prior experience with TMS machines (Brainsway and Cloud) is preferred, though full training and certification will be provided for the right candidate
- Must not be a current or former patient of the practice
