What are the responsibilities and job description for the Practice Manager- Central Region position at PsychPlus?

Why PsychPlus?

The current delivery model for mental health care in the U.S. is broken. At PsychPlus, we are on a mission to reimagine how mental health care is delivered to those who need it most. Our goal is to provide a digital-first, modern approach to psychiatry and therapy—making care accessible, affordable, and convenient.

We offer both in-person services at our clinics across multiple states and virtual care so patients can receive treatment wherever they are. By combining exceptional medical and psychological care with best-in-class technology, we deliver an integrated experience that meets patients’ needs in a way traditional models cannot.

Join us in our mission to ensure every person has access to high-quality mental health care.

About the Role: Practice Manager – Central Market

As a Practice Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing daily clinic operations and ensuring seamless workflows for patient care. This position is ideal for someone with clinical experience (LVN or Case Manager background) who understands healthcare operations and is passionate about mental health.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for providers, patients, and administrative staff—ensuring that clinics operate efficiently, remain compliant, and deliver exceptional patient experiences. Additionally, you will support expansion efforts across the Central Market by assisting with operational readiness for new clinics.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the assigned clinic, ensuring smooth workflows, patient satisfaction, and compliance with clinical standards.
  • Coordinate with clinical teams (LVNs, Case Managers, and providers) to optimize patient care processes and ensure adherence to protocols.
  • Manage staffing schedules, onboarding, and training for clinical and administrative staff.
  • Monitor and improve operational performance metrics, including patient throughput, appointment scheduling, and resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with leadership to implement best practices for clinical workflows and patient engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Support expansion initiatives by assisting with operational readiness for new clinics in the Central Market.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for clinical operations, staffing, and performance.
  • Partner with internal teams (billing, IT, HR) to resolve operational issues and maintain seamless communication.
  • Provide leadership with regular updates on clinic performance and improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • Clinical experience required (LVN or Case Manager background strongly preferred).
  • 2 years of experience in healthcare operations, clinic coordination, or practice management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, psychology, or related field (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows and patient care processes.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and scheduling systems.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management tools a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for mental health and commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the Central Market for training or operational support.

Perks

Our mentality is to find the best, attract the best, and pay the best talent—which is why we prioritize quality over quantity of hires. While we offer zero-stress medical, dental, and vision coverage, competitive salaries, and a generous PTO policy, we're way more excited to tell you about a few "perks” that are unique to PsychPlus. We’ve spent time thinking through what it means to be a modern mental health company and how we can better align these additional perks with our mission and values.

Additional Information

The expected base pay for this role will be between $60,000 and $90,000 annually at the commencement of employment. However, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location and years of experience. Further, base pay is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other PsychPlus Health-sponsored benefits.

So—what do you think?

If you’ve made it this far, well, we’re excited to meet you too. Just one more thing that we want you to remember: we pride ourselves on our meritocratic, performance-driven culture.
