Assignment Details:
- Duration: Ongoing, with immediate openings
- Compensation: 1099 Independent Contractor; earnings based on license and insurance contracted rates; clinicians set their own cash-pay rates
- Schedule: Flexible, clinician-determined; part-time or full-time options available
- Location: Hybrid (remote and in-person in California)
Summary & Success in the Role:
As an LCSW at PSAS, you will provide direct psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families. You will be a key part of our mission to provide accessible, compassionate mental health services.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, couple, and family psychotherapy using evidence-based approaches
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in team meetings as needed
- Set and manage your own schedule and caseload
- Uphold client confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Participate in quality assurance and ongoing professional development
Qualifications
- Active LCSW license in California
- Master’s degree in Social Work or related field
- Experience providing psychotherapy to individuals and/or families
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, build rapport, and manage a diverse caseload
- Malpractice insurance (minimum $1M/$3M coverage)
- Proficiency with a variety of clinical approaches (CBT, DBT, etc.)
- Experience with adults, children, or adolescents is a plus
- Bilingual skills are highly valued
Special Conditions
- Background check may be required
- Must comply with all applicable state and federal regulations regarding client care and documentation
- Mandated Reporter status as required by California law
