Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate is passionate about mental health and addiction treatment, thrives in a team-based setting, and is committed to delivering the highest quality of care to clients in recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive histories, psychiatric assessments and evaluations, and follow ups.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and adjust as clinically indicated.
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in accordance with best practices and facility policy.
- Make recommendations for external medical referrals when necessary.
- Foster positive, collaborative relationships with staff and clients to support a therapeutic environment.
- Provide crisis intervention and clinical leadership as needed.
- Participate in on-call duties when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Current Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP strongly preferred) in the State of Maryland (or eligibility for licensure).
- Experience in inpatient psychiatry, addiction medicine, or behavioral health preferred.
- Strong clinical decision-making skills and the ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.

HOURS: 3 7 HOURS SHIFTS WEEKLY BETWEEN HOURS 9AM-5PM.
