Come join Psychiatric Medical Care's adolescent behavioral health outpatient program, "Embrace U". Embrace U is a combined IOP and PHP treating patients ages 10-18.
Title: Part-Time Intake Coordinator
Hours: Every other Saturday and Sunday 9am-6pm CST
Pay rate: $20-$25/hr
Location: Initial training will be conducted onsite in Nashville, TN. Following training, the position will be primarily remote.

Job purpose
The Intake Coordinator is a key member of the care team, responsible for the initial contact with families, guiding them through the intake process with empathy and professionalism. This role involves gathering clinical and administrative information, verifying insurance, scheduling intakes, and ensuring families feel supported from their first point of contact. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and experienced in mental health or behavioral health settings.

Ensure patient care needs are met while at the program.
Greet and assist patients and parents in person, over the phone, or via email
Collect and verify personal, medical, or service-related information
Input and maintain accurate records in the database or electronic health record (EHR) system
Communicate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA or other relevant regulations
Educate parent/guardians on agency policies, procedures, and what to expect during the intake and throughout the duration of the program.
Assist parents/guardians with completion of consents and patient admission process as directed.
Complete medical records including filing and form tracking.
Verify insurance eligibility and obtain prior authorizations when necessary.
Complete any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Providing assistance and support to the team when needed.
Compliance: Ensure the program operates within all regulations.
Comply with all regulations.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA or other relevant regulations
Community: Become a wonderful addition to your local community.
Demonstrate an understanding of community education definitions and activities.
Participate in customer service training as it relates to community integration
Keep up to date community education contacts as directed.
Participate in cohesive team environment to ensure program success.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma
- Experience: experience in providing care to adolescents preferred.
- Experience performing administrative or clerical duties, working with computers and electronic medical records.
- Knowledge of community resources for adolescents.
Salary : $20 - $25
