We are seeking a full-time Medical Director (Psychiatrist) to join a leading behavioral health hospital in Washington, DC. Responsibilities
• Provide executive leadership and clinical oversight for inpatient psychiatric services• Supervise attending psychiatrists and clinical staff within the inpatient program• Oversee admissions, discharges, and ongoing patient care management• Lead quality improvement initiatives, risk management efforts, and service optimization• Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning and operational alignment• Participate in medical staff and executive meetings and contribute to program development• Ensure documentation and compliance standards are met within the EMR
Compensation & Benefits

Qualifications
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school• Board Certified in Psychiatry• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Washington, DC• Minimum five years of inpatient behavioral health experience• Prior leadership, management, or Medical Director experience required• Demonstrated expertise in psychiatric operations, quality improvement, and healthcare financial management
