PsychAssociates Group is a leading psychologist-owned group practice, founded in 1993. Our therapists provide high quality behavioral health services to populations in short-term acute rehabilitation and skilled nursing facilities throughout all five boroughs of New York City, Long Island, and Westchester County.
PsychAssociates Group is currently looking for a part time LMHC, LCSW, LMFT at our highly sought after Long Beach, NY and Far Rockaway, NY locations. Therapists will work under the supervision of a NYS Licensed Psychologist.
Requirements:
- Active NYS LMFT, NYS LCSW, NYS LMHC
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and provide treatment to patients with varied mental health needs in a culturally sensitive, professional and ethical manner. Challenging issues that our staff encounter with our short and long-term care patients include adjustment to change, compliance with care and medication, anxiety, depression, compulsive behavior, isolation and withdrawal, and low self-esteem
- Collaborate with treatment teams and other related service providers to assure continuity of care
- Present in-service trainings to other clinical disciplines within the facility to optimize patient outcomes
