What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Cores/Warranty Clerk position at PSTC?
The primary purpose of the Core Clerk is to manage the incoming and outgoing core inventory
Verify on a daily basis all credited dirty cores are accounted for either physically or as a pre-credited core.
Inspect all dirty cores for damage or non-returnable conditions.
Communicate with Parts Counter, Inventory Controller, or Parts Manager when dirty cores are missing or do not meet acceptable criteria.
Organize and control all used cores while holding for return to suppliers.
Prepare, pack and ship dirty core returns as allowed by suppliers.
Must keep up with all supplier's core acceptance policies and procedures
Pull parts orders when workload demands
Performs additional duties as assigned
Should possess a High School diploma or equivalent
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
Motor Vehicle Record must meet guidelines
Physical Requirement’s:
- The ability to lift to 50 pounds regularly. 3 to 6 hours per day
- The ability to lift to 80 pounds regularly, 3 to 6 hours per day.
- The ability to squat, bend or stoop on a regular basis. 3 to 6 hours per day
- Move about the warehouse order to retrieve parts 1 to 4 hours per day
