Core Duties
- Inventory management Tracking stock levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring accurate records to prevent shortages or overstock.
- Supervising staff Hiring, training, scheduling, and managing warehouse workers, including setting performance expectations.
- Overseeing receiving & shipping Ensuring incoming goods are checked and stored properly, and outgoing orders are packed and dispatched on time.
- Warehouse organization Designing efficient layouts for storage, improving picking/packing processes, and maximizing space.
- Safety & compliance Enforcing workplace safety standards (like OSHA guidelines) and maintaining a clean, hazard-free environment.
- Process improvement Identifying inefficiencies and implementing better workflows or systems to increase productivity.
