This position plays a critical role in supporting operational excellence and delivering exceptional service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (CDL required) in a safe and compliant manner in accordance with all DOT regulations and company policies
- Transport materials, tools, and equipment to customer sites and branch locations
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and securement
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks; report any issues promptly
- Assist with warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, picking, and inventory management
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipping documents, and required compliance records
- Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely and professional manner
- Follow all safety protocols and actively promote a culture of safety
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and interactions
- Support general yard and facility upkeep as needed
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – Class A or B (as required by position)
- Clean driving record in accordance with company and insurance requirements
- Ability to meet DOT physical and medical certification requirements
- Prior experience in driving, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Strong understanding of safety practices and compliance standards
- Basic computer skills for logs, tracking, and communication
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Problem-solving and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs regularly
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
