Structural Engineer
Location: Temple, Texas
Salary: $85,000 – $110,000 (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time
PSR Talent Solutions is working in partnership with a leading engineering consultancy to recruit a Structural Engineer for their growing team in Temple.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven structural engineer to contribute to the design and delivery on both new builds and upgrades to existing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to structural design packages from concept through to detailed design and delivery
- Carry out analysis and design of structures using reinforced concrete, steel, and masonry
- Produce clear, accurate drawings and technical specifications to support construction
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop coordinated and practical engineering solutions
- Manage workload across multiple projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
- Support project planning activities, including scope definition, scheduling, and resource estimation
- Track progress and maintain high-quality project documentation and reporting
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to quality assurance processes
- Provide technical support during construction, including occasional site visits
- Continue to develop technical skills and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (ABET-accredited)
- 5–10 years of experience in structural design
- Strong understanding of concrete, steel, and masonry design principles
- Familiarity with International Building Code (IBC) standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 2 years
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- PE license or intent to obtain via NCEES
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or MicroStation
- Knowledge of finite element modeling (plates and frame elements)
- Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Active participation in professional organizations
