Salary: $85,000 – $110,000 (dependent on experience)

PSR Talent Solutions is working in partnership with a leading engineering consultancy to recruit a Structural Engineer for their growing team in Temple.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven structural engineer to contribute to the design and delivery on both new builds and upgrades to existing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to structural design packages from concept through to detailed design and delivery
• Carry out analysis and design of structures using reinforced concrete, steel, and masonry
• Produce clear, accurate drawings and technical specifications to support construction
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop coordinated and practical engineering solutions
• Manage workload across multiple projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
• Support project planning activities, including scope definition, scheduling, and resource estimation
• Track progress and maintain high-quality project documentation and reporting
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to quality assurance processes
• Provide technical support during construction, including occasional site visits
• Continue to develop technical skills and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (ABET-accredited)
• 5–10 years of experience in structural design
• Strong understanding of concrete, steel, and masonry design principles
• Familiarity with International Building Code (IBC) standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 2 years

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• PE license or intent to obtain via NCEES
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or MicroStation
• Knowledge of finite element modeling (plates and frame elements)
• Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Active participation in professional organizations
