As our Project Engineer / Civil Engineer for our Civil Engineering team in San Diego, CA, you'll contribute to the planning and design of diverse development and infrastructure projects across Southern California and beyond. What You'll Do
As our Project Engineer / Civil Engineer, you will support the planning and design of site development and public works projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- Engineering Design & Analysis Perform research, due diligence, and engineering calculations to develop conceptual and final design solutions for a variety of civil projects.
- Project Coordination & Delivery Collaborate with clients, subconsultants, and internal teams to ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Plans, Specifications & Documentation Prepare construction drawings, technical specifications, and supporting reports to advance projects through design and permitting.
- Permitting & Agency Coordination Coordinate with public agencies to support planning, entitlement, and design approvals for private and public projects.
- Team Collaboration & Mentorship Support and mentor junior staff while contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Active California Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 5 years of experience supporting multi-discipline civil engineering projects
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong technical skills with experience preparing reports, designs, construction documents, specifications, and calculations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, collaborate effectively, and communicate with clients and project teams
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
