We are offering a $1,500 Sign-on Bonus an additional $250 for each of the following certifications: Ed Tech III & DSP
Schedule:
ESY (Summer 2026): Mon: 7:45am-2:30pm, Tues.& Wed: 7:45am-2:45pm, Thurs. 7:45am-3:30pm (28.5 hours/week)*
School Year 2026-27: Mon: 7:45 am-2:30pm, Tues. & Wed. 7:45am-2:45pm, Thurs. 7:45am-3:30pm, Fri. 7:45am-2:15pm (35 hours/week following local school calendars for breaks in the year)*
*Other opportunities may be available to supplement hours during school breaks, if interested.
Job Description:
PSL Services/STRIVE provides a community of support and assistance to people with intellectual disabilities who experience challenges and are seeking greater independence by respecting the value of each individual, initiating mutually beneficial, sustainable partnerships with business and community leaders, and creating innovative opportunities responsive to the evolving needs of individuals and families.
STRIVE TOPS is designed especially for high school students with disabilities who are 18 - 21 years old in their 5th or higher year of high school. This transitional program supports students to generalize skills to new settings as well as acquire additional independent living skills.
TOPS (Transition Outcomes Program for Students) is currently seeking an Ed Tech III for the 2026 summer Extended School year program and the 2026-2027 school year, with a start date of June 29th. Hours will follow local school calendars for breaks in the year. Other opportunities may be available to combine roles for a full time, 40-hour position. $1500 sign-on bonus to the successful applicant!
Requirements:
- Eligibility for or possess a current Ed Tech III Certification
- Driver’s license, reliable vehicle and clean driving record
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred
Responsibilities:
- Working with students in 1:5 ratio
- Get students involved in our community through community-based programming
- Supporting Individual Education Plan(s)
- Regularly create and teach lesson plans related to functional life skills
