What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ski and Snowboard Instructor position at PSIA-AASI Western Region?
As a Ski & Snowboard Pro, you will teach alpine skiing or snowboarding to children and adults of all ability levels by focusing on the fundamentals of on-mountain safety while providing a fun on-snow experience. Extensive training is provided for inexperienced to advanced candidates.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Teach group and private lessons, including beginner lessons for both adults and children.
- Deliver amazing guest experiences in a safe and professional manner, provide feedback to guests that encourages growth and engagement with the sport.
- Provide exceptional guest service while always maintaining safety as a priority.
- Support the Mountain Sports School in all facets, including scanning, setting up learning zones, running surface lifts, handing out program lunches, and other duties as assigned.
- Attend all required trainings and meetings.
What We Need
- Must be over 18 years of age. Those under 18 may apply to become a Junior Instructor.
- Must have excellent communication and guest service skills.
- Able to ski/snowboard at an intermediate level and above in all terrain with variable conditions.
- Ability to ski / snowboard for up to 6.5 hours per day.
- PSIA Level 1, or foreign equivalent preferred,
- Able to work weekends and holidays.
- Placement as a Pro is contingent upon completing the Alyeska Snow College training and meeting the minimum teaching skills, technical skills and people skills required to successfully manage the guest experience in a safe fun learning environment., technical, and people skills required to successfully manage the guest experience in a safe, fun learning environment.
Salary : $20 - $35
