Assignment Experience (What You Can Expect)
(When available, PSI shares real assignment details early in the process)
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
Collaborate on IEP development and progress monitoring
Exposure to a variety of grade levels (PreK–12 opportunities)
Work with 1–2 buildings when possible
Collaborative teams including Intervention Specialists, SLPs, Counselors, and Administration
Your Impact as a School Psychologist
You’ll support students across academic, behavioral, and social-emotional domains while helping schools create environments where students can thrive.
Core Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
Collaborate on IEP development and progress monitoring
Develop evidence-based interventions for students
Provide individual and group counseling support as appropriate
Support MTSS / RTI initiatives
Partner with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support whole-child outcomes
What We’re Looking For
Master’s or higher in School Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or related field
Valid School Psychologist license (state-specific)
School-based experience preferred (newer professionals encouraged to apply — mentorship available)
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Passion for supporting student growth and mental health
