Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and package orders accurately using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, and inventory management software to track shipments and update records.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers to load, unload, and move stock efficiently within the warehouse.
- Verify order accuracy through data entry, order picking, and packing procedures while maintaining high standards of quality control.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to schedule shipments, arrange freight carriers, and ensure compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards.
- Maintain detailed shipping & receiving logs, inbound/outbound documentation, and inventory records for audit readiness.
- Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve shipping issues promptly and provide updates on order status.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in shipping & receiving processes.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (such as AS400 or ERP systems) and Microsoft Office tools for documentation and reporting.
- Strong understanding of inventory management practices, order fulfillment procedures, and stock replenishment techniques.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely; forklift certification is preferred.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Knowledge of shipping logistics including load & unload procedures, packaging standards, and international trade regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for data entry and recordkeeping tasks.
- Customer service mindset with effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external carriers.

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
